9 accomodations in 16 days.

So... Our general itinerary is up. We know where we wanna go, and where we're gonna stay... We've also booked our hostels... When booking the hostels, don't just stick on one website. Different hostels, have different prices on different sites. we found out that one hostel might be cheaper in hostelworld, but another might be cheaper on Agoda... Some is cheaper when you're booking direct... Some has web promotions.. so if u book before hand, you get a cheaper price... Exchange rates matter too... thanks to my meticulous sister, we managed to save a few bucks here and there.... We're on a budget trip. Every dollar (or in this case Won,) counts....

Here's the list of accomodations that we're staying at...

#1: House Hostel, Sokcho
We plan to see Seoraksan in the morning after, so we decided to stay there for the night...

#2: Suncruise Hotel, Jeongdongjin

#3: Rockitsuda, Jeongseon (Gohan)
It's gonna be a challenge to get there.. I think.

#4: Indy Guesthouse, Haeundae, Busan

#5: Rainbow Guesthouse, Jeju
It's near the airport. Perfect coz we're gonna be reaching Jeju at night...

#6: Ilchulbong Tourist Hotel, Jeju
It's near Ilchulbong Peak... Where we plan to see the sunrise the following day...

#7: Hyatt Regency, Jeju
Our only "luxury" accomodation in the whole trip.

#8: SUM guesthouse, Jeju
Near the airport. Our flight back to seoul is EARLY in the morn....

#9: BLU guesthouse, Seoul
We've stayed at this one before. It's no frills, and is accessible from Hongdae station.... PLUS, the people at the Paris Baguette and Glassbox around the area are really nice. :)


Reason why we have so many accomodations in Jeju is because we are renting a car on the island.. n it didn't make sense for us to drive all the way to one location just for a night's rest...

I'll try to update along the way, and also give the total amount we spent on accomodations for these 16 nights!

That's approximately the distance we're gonna travel... according to google maps... if everything goes as planned.

We're currently in the midst of planning our backpacking trip to South Korea... I'll be posting up our planning, and hopefully our trip here... to digitally document this trip. I've been wanting to write a travel blog for quite a bit since I backpacked Japan in 2010, but I never got around doing it... Hopefully, I won't get lazy and update diligently!
